Course purchase refunds

2.1General rules for course refunds

CourseBoot provides a refund option for most courses under a seven-day refund policy where the request satisfies this Refund Policy.

This refund option applies only to one-time course purchases and does not automatically apply to subscriptions, certificates or special enterprise agreements.

2.2Seven-day refund policy

A user may request a refund within seven calendar days from the course purchase date.

After that period, CourseBoot may reject the request unless the platform determines otherwise.

CourseBoot may review exceptional cases individually.

2.3Conditions for refund approval

A course refund may be approved only where the following conditions are satisfied.

CourseBoot evaluates the level of course usage through internal monitoring systems.

  • The course has not been substantially viewed or consumed.
  • The user has not completed a significant portion of the educational content.

  • CourseBoot credits where permitted by the platform's payment logic.
3

Subscription refunds

3.1General subscription rules

Subscriptions purchased through CourseBoot are generally non-refundable unless separate terms, a special offer or a platform decision expressly provides otherwise.

By subscribing, the user accepts recurring billing and automatic renewal terms for the applicable service.

Subscription products may include the following models.

After activation, CourseBoot or the relevant payment provider may automatically charge the selected payment method according to the billing cycle unless the user cancels before the next renewal date.

  • Monthly and annual subscriptions.

3.3Cancellation rules

A user may cancel a subscription at any time through account settings or an official support request.

Once an active subscription period begins, the current billing cycle is generally non-refundable.

Exceptions are possible only after a platform-approved refund review.

  • Active premium access and creator subscription tools.
  • Recurring learning access.

  • Account restrictions or suspension of platform access.
  • Freezing of payouts.
  • Termination of the subscription.
4

Certificate refunds

4.1General rules for certificate refunds

Certificates, completion certificates and verification documents are subject to separate refund rules.

No refund is provided after a certificate has been issued.

After a certificate has been generated, issued, opened, downloaded or used for verification, the digital service is considered fully provided and is non-refundable.

4.3Certification abuse prevention

Where abuse is detected, CourseBoot may reject a refund, revoke the certificate, suspend account access or initiate a compliance review.

  • Fraudulent certification requests or fake completion attempts.
